Hockey practice

\ On thursday last week Mr Milne said that we could go out for a bit of hockey practice and then if we had enough time we could have a game. Unfortunly we did not have enough time so we hade a game on friday. Once it was friday Mr Milne said we would have have a choise of what we would do. We all new one of the choises which was the game of hockey the other chois was to start our prime math books. I chose prime math to staart even though I am in the hockey. I thought that I hade been playing hockey alot so that is what I voted for unfortunly more people wanted to play hockey so thats what we did.

Homing pigeons

Last week on friday we read and then make ether homing pigeons, a paper ladder or a paper wistle. For me I got to make a paper homing pigeon. Above is how to make a homing pigeon if you can not see it propaly click on it and it will be alot clearer.

Here are the steps how to do it: 1.Colour your piece of black card with cold coloured pastels. 2.Paint over with black paint. 3.Wait for the paint to dry and then you can start etching with the tooth pick.

Number sticks

 

One month ago we played a math game with popsicle sticks. Here are the steps of how to play it: 1. Get 2O popsicle sticks. 2. Right any number up to 1OOO on all 2O sticks. 3. Find a partner. 4. Mix up all of the sticks and turn them over so that you can not see the numbers. 5. You and your partner will pull out ten sticks each and keep them turned over. 6. Say 3,2,1, go and put the sticks in order from highest to lowest and hoever was faster to finish wins!

Triathlon practice

We are practising for the school triathlon in two weeks. First we will do the run next we will do the bike  after that the swim and finally the short run and then we can line up for a burger or hot dog I train at home by waking up at five thirty and after school I run up the hill.
